We make natural, artisan tarts with quality ingredients and a lot of heart.

Megpies began as a weekly bake sale on our Brooklyn stoop. Catering to busy commuters on their way to the subway, we created a hand pie with a flaky, buttery crust that didn't crumble when eaten -- perfect for an on-the-go snack.
This evolved into the Megpie, which we debuted in 2012 at Smorgasburg in NYC. Filled with specialty jam from Anarchy in a Jar and topped with colorful icing, our treats were a hit! Soon local cafes and shops were interested, and we started delivering Megpies via bicycle as we commuted to our day jobs.
After four years of increasing our reach throughout the New York region, in 2016 we took a big leap and expanded nationally! While Megpies are still available in many of the specialty shops and cafes in Brooklyn and Manhattan where we began our journey, now you can find our tarts at Starbucks locations nationwide in the US and Canada.
While the days of stoop bake sales and bike deliveries are in the past, we continue to work with the same dedication and passion that got us started.
